— Milton Glaser in conversation with Steve Heller
Glaser dishes out a set of measured home-truths. Now a self-confessed loner, Glaser reveals his distaste for the glorified, congratulatory and franchised state of modern design. Served out with enough knowing nods to be more than sentiment, this one pushes the anglepoise over the posers and fame-seekers and asks some good questions.
It's also quite funny and should be compulsory viewing for all those younger designers who might think "on-trend" is more important than the idea.
